Better by Design... The 1200 console is the culmination of more that 20 years of analog console design & manufacture by Arrakis Systems inc. Very compact, rugged reliable, easy to use, and easy to install & work on , the 1200 is the ideal choice for many On Air, Production, and News applications in Radio. Three model sizes going all the way up to 15 channels, makes the 1200 fit even large studio applications. The console can be table top or thru-table mounted, and it's low profile is useful for talk radio. The clamshell design opens to provide quick access to the interior of the console for installation, setup, reconfiguration, or repair. The external power supply keeps the size of the console down and heat to minimum. Use of the analog VU meters reduces operator eyestrain and provides accurate metering of audio levels. The Penny & Giles slide faders are smooth action and features dust deflectors for long, trouble free operation.The 1200 is a blend of thoughtful design and quality components. Analog radio consoles are superior to their digital counterparts because engineers have a great deal more experience installing and maintaining analog consoles, and there is simply a certain comfort level with analog.
