Arrakis Systems has been building audio consoles for radio since the late 1970's. Over 5,000 Arrakis consoles have been sold during that time and Arrakis remains a leader in radio console technology today with both analog and digital console products.

Arrakis consoles are sold worldwide and are found in Europe, Russia, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, Africa, Canada, and Central & South America. The United States Army, Navy and Air Force use Arrakis consoles in all parts of the world. Arrakis consoles are well know for their features, flexibility, reliability, and cost effectiveness.

With the introduction of the ARC (Advanced Radio Console) series in 2007, Arrakis built PC sound card capabilities directly into the console, blending console and PC media capabilities for added features. This allows the console to directly control the world standard Arrakis Digilink radio automation workstations as well as operate directly with Windows or Mac audio software.

ARC-15 ... analog audio console

The ARC-15 is a very low cost fifteen channel analog console designed for extreme ease of installation and service. With 15 channels the ARC-15 can handle even large studio needs. The console has a dedicated mic on channel one. Channels 2-5 are internally selectable as mic (with turret logic) or stereo line inputs to support up to 5 mics total in the console. This is perfect for talk studio applications. Channel 15 on the console is dedicated to an external phone hybrid and features talkback and comprehensive control for On Air and Off-line production. Channel 14 can be internally selected as either a high peformance PC sound card (USB) or a stereo line input. The console comes with Windows software to link the console and PC for playback, recording, and channel logic. The ARC console is truly an Advanced Radio Console that meets most studio applications.

The console has two program mix outputs: Program and Audition. It has an internal cue speaker with amp for cueing sources and talkback. The headphone system drives both low impedance 8 ohm headsets and high impedance headsets. All switches are 5 million operation with LED lamps for long life. The Nova is a digital console designed for extreme ease of installation and service. While digital on the inside, the ten channels feature 2 mic channels, 8 stereo analog line channels, and two digital channels. The console has BOTH analog and digital outputs for compatibility within any studio.
