NAB Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada

Arrakis Systems inc. exhibited our full line of consoles, automation, and studio furniture at the 2009 NAB Exhibition in Las Vegas Nevada. With estimated attendance of 83,000, this show was significantly smaller than last year's 105,000 and the previous year's 125,000.

Michael Palmer, President of Arrakis had this to say about the show...
" Despite the national recession, attendance in our booth was higher this year than last year. I think that this was because of our new MARC-15 console line and the ARC consoles and ACCENT studio furniture that we introduced last year. This year was our 30th year exhibiting at NAB, and I still get excited when we attend this show. There is no substitute for visiting with customers and dealers face to face. International attendance was very high.

NEW... Marc-15 modular console

Arrakis introduced the MARC-15 modular, analog console at this year's NAB convention. The console, which began shipping in November of 2008, was very well received. The MARC supports two external phone hybrids, a USB-PC module that plays and records in digital to a Windows PC, and is wired by RJ45 connectors (cables included with the console... a $1,200 value).
