Arrakis - Custom Features

The ACCENT Furniture collection is designed to be easily customizable. The standard height for the ACCENT collection is 30 inches, but may be heightened to a 36 inch standup height. This feature costs a standard $500 for all configurations. Simply ask for the stand up height option when you are placing your order.

The “Punch Block Cabinet” is designed to house wiring and punch blocks (if used). It can also be used simply as a wire channel to conveniently hide console and source gear cabling. The front and rear panels are removable with four screws to provide easy access. Only $500, simply ask for the punch block wiring cabinet option when you are placing your order.

At times it is desirable to replace a pedestal cabinet with a knee well so that the operator can use certain types of tabletop equipment. The standard ACCESS knee well width is 26". The addition of a 26" knee well adds 7" to the overall length of the pedestal return. Other widths are optionally available. This is no additional charge, simply include in your order where you want a knee well in your ACCENT furniture.

The ACCENT Furniture collection is designed to be easily customizable. A standard option is to add an interview ledge on either the right or left sides. This creates an 11" overhang, which is the standard depth for executive conference desks. To add the standard interview ledge, for only $200, simply request either a left or right side interview ledge when you order.

Other custom sizes & shapes can be made as well. Using our CNC, we can create any design and shape, accurate to within a 1,000th of an inch. For custom tabletops, contact our sales department for pricing & lead time.

Add some flair to your furniture by adding lighted panels. The lighted panels are placed on the outside of the pedestal racks. These are available for the Balanced U, Unbalanced U, Short U, Long L, and Short L configurations. Custom colors available. Check with the factory for more information.

The ACCENT furniture collection has set the standard for beauty, design and function. Quality comes standard. Standard materials & colors are typically kept in stock and will ship faster than custom orders. The standard materials for the ACCENT series is:

Vertical Posts: 0.125" quarter hard aluminum (5052-H32), brushed and clear anodized

Horizontal Frame members: 0.060" steel, brushed and zinc plated

Vertical surface Wood panels: 0.75" Roseburg Melamine, or equivalent

Table Substrate: 1.125" thick, 45# density particle board core

Table Backer: .038 paper backer sheet

Table Laminates: Wilsonart, high pressure laminate,

Table Edge: 0.45" x 1.25" high, Vinyl Waterfall edge with PVC, 1.5" radius corner

Standard Colors:

Side panels: light gray

Tabletop laminates: Graphite Nebula

Table edge: matte black

Aluminum: brushed and clear anodized

Wilsonart: Graphite Nebula

Melamine: Light Grey

Custom Materials

We realize that every studio is different and has different needs. Therefore we design our furniture to be fully customizable. You may use different materials, different tabletop shapes and different designs.

Custom Tabletop Colors

Our tabletops use Wilsonart laminates. As a result, we can create tabletops with a wide variety of colors and patters. With this there are 2 options:

OPTION 1:

Any of the Wilsonart "standard colors" can be selected for the tabletop without an additional charge, but may increase the manufacturing time for the studio.

OPTION 2:

There are Premium Wilsonart colors that may also be selected but there will be an additional charge. Contact the factory for pricing. Premium colors are called the HD "High Definition" collection and can be selected from here:

Custom Side Panel Colors

Our side panels may also have custom colors or patterns. There are 2 options that you may choose from:

OPTION 1:

The standard Melamine side panel colors are (1) gray, (2) black, (3) white. These other standard colors are available without an upcharge but may increase the manufacturing time for the studio.

OPTION 2:

Side panels can also be custom made with Wilsonart laminates. Any Wilsonart color may be selected but there will be an additional charge. Contact the factory for pricing. Standard colors will be cheaper than the HD colors. Colors and patterns may be found by going here:
